On October 21st, during its annual meeting, the National Academy of Medicine announced the election of 100 new members. Election to the Academy is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine, and continues to recognize individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and excellency in their specialty.
Beth was elected for "redefining our understanding of how the wiring in the brain occurs in early life, and shedding new light on how the nervous and immune systems interact in the brain, in health and disease.
