Kathleen is a brand new Harvard University grad with a major in Neuroscience. She conducted her senior thesis "Identifying novel AD-risk genes implicated in microglia engulfment function using iPSC-derived iMGLs" in the Stevens Lab under the mentorship of postdoctoral fellow Dr. Martine Therrien. Kathleen was awarded both the John E. Dowling Prize for the most outstanding thesis in the neuroscience department as well as the Thomas Temple Hoopes Prize, which recognizes exceptional student theses from all Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences departments. Kathleen will be starting medical school at Johns Hopkins in August 2021. Congratulations Kathleen on your incredible achievements!
