Allison is a graduate student in the Program in Neuroscience at Harvard. She grew up in Scranton, PA and then went on to attend Cornell University where she received her B.A. in Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology in 2007. She went directly to graduate school after her undergraduate work and has been a member of the Stevens lab since 2008. Allison is interested in neural-immune interactions in development and disease. Her project in the lab is focused on determining how complement protein expression is regulated during development to activate the process of complement-dependent synapse elimination.
